Saturday 15th July will mark the 3rd anniversary of the introduction of the .scot domain. The governing body proudly state: “Show your Scottish connection with a .scot domain” and you can do so by registering here at Clook.
Personally I’ve always had an affinity with Scotland which has developed I think, via football. Various England managers deemed my beloved Blackburn Rovers players not good enough for the national squad (despite winning the Premier League with a predominantly English team!) but we’ve had dozens of Scots in our ranks through the years and even recently through our sad decline we’ve had Charlie Mulgrew, Gordon, Greer, Grant Hanley, Tom Cairney, Jordan Rhodes, Craig Conway represent the national team. I’d rather watch my home town players in a navy blue shirt than a bunch of overhyped posers in all white!
Anyway back to the domain… The original launch saw 50 .scot sites for partners including the Scottish government, referendum campaigners Yes Scotland and Better Together, WWF Scotland, NHS Scotland and Scouts Scotland. The brand has grown and we are seeing a number of Clook customers using the domain too.
For a limited period, we are offering 33% off the cost of a .scot registration. Simply head over to Clook.net and use the code ‘tartan’ at check out to receive the reduction*.
*Promotion runs from 13th July 09:00 and finishes at midnight 21st July 2017.
