ISO 9001 & 27001 Certification Audit

Today sees the start of our annual external audit of the ISO 9001 & 27001 accreditations by United Registrar of Systems (URS). As part of the 2 day review, URS will be assessing whether we are compliant with the procedures and standards required for each ISO.

This year’s audit brings an update to the ISO 9001 standard with the first major revision since 2000. Whilst ISO 9001 continues to serve the business community and maintain its relevance in today’s market place, the standard is being revised to address the change in the business world. As you may expect, all of our internal quality procedures have been reassessed and where applicable, brought inline to 9001:2015 requirements.

A SWOT Analysis has been introduced to evaluate the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities & Threats to the business.

The ISO 27001 standard remains the same as in previous years and it is this accreditation that is perhaps more relevant to our customers. This certificate covers Information Security Management Systems.

We expect re-certification to be granted shortly and we hope that in doing so gives reassurance to you that we are doing our utmost to safeguard your valuable data and intellectual property.
