James kicks off our ‘Five minutes with’ segments, where we’ll be giving you insights on all of our dedicated team.

With the seaside on his doorstep and a passion for writing software, James is part of our Technical support team and has just passed his degree in Cyber Security. We’d like to take the opportunity to congratulate him on this excellent achievement

ℹ️ Tell us a little bit about your role at Clook?

My primary focus is on the customer-facing support role, answering tickets/phonecalls/live chats and monitoring your servers to ensure uptime and reliability. I use my previous experience and knowledge to work with the team developing tools and features to make both the lives of our support team and customers easier.

ℹ️ What’s your workspace looking like right now?

Right now my desk is composed of snacks/drinks for the rest of the day, a spare zombie foot and the odd Raspberry Pi I like to tinker with.

ℹ️ What’s an everyday ritual you have to do?

In my spare time, I work on my non-work related projects, ranging from DIY to web-development/design. I would certainly classify as a jack of all trades!

ℹ️ Tell us an interesting fact about yourself? 

Much to the household’s despair, I set 5 alarms to wake up each morning – each one 5 minutes following the other & have the obsession of checking they’re all set and my phone is unmuted before I can settle down to sleep at night.
