What we are watching
Have you been binge-watching the new Netflix series ‘High Score’?
High Score is a six-part documentary series that helps you reminisce some of your favourite childhood games like Mario, Sonic, Mortal Combat and more.
Throughout the series, you’ll explore the history of video games and where the ideas came from for some of our favourite titles. Narrated by Charles Martinet (the Voice of Mario), it’s a great series to watch and get lost in re-living your past gaming victories.
Here at Clook, we’ve been chatting about our favourite retro games:
“I remember setting up a LAN connection between computers to play Command and Conquer with my brother. Two back-to-back CRT Tube Monitors and a battle plan, the hours would fly by!” – 🕹 Scott.
“I still feel like I’m playing Tony Hawks when I hear Superman by Goldfinger” – 🕹 Phil.
“I loved playing Sensible World Of Soccer on my Amiga 600! ” – 🕹 Jamie
“I’ve just set up a retro games emulator and I’m re-playing Crazy Taxi, Soul Calibur, Goof Troop and Gauntlet. I’ve still not managed to beat my wife at Mega Bomberman though” – 🕹 David
“My first ever console was Sega Mega Drive and I loved playing Sonic, Streets of Rage II & Golden Axe” – 🕹 Carl L
